Castle Voices is a vibrant community rock choir, bringing together people of all ages and abilities from across the Isle of Purbeck who share a love of singing.
Founded in Corfe Castle in 2013, the choir takes its name from the iconic landmark at the heart of Purbeck. What began as a small local group has grown into a thriving community, celebrating friendship, music, and shared joy.
We rehearse weekly at The Mowlem in Swanage; our repertoire is an eclectic mix of uplifting, well-known rock and pop favourites that audiences love to hear - and our singers love to sing.
With three part harmonies and contagious energy, every performance is packed with passion and heart, and is guaranteed to get your feet tapping.

Swanage Drama Company and friends present ‘Another Night at The Mowlem’ to help raise £6,000 for Curtain tracks.

The Mowlem is set to host a brand new kind of show this June - and this time, the audience takes centre stage.
Join Castle Voices choir for The Swanage BIG SING, a unique concert where YOU become part of the choir. With lyrics projected on a large screen and a hall full of voices singing together, this is your chance to experience the thrill of performing - no experience required.
For this special event, Castle Voices will be joined by special guests Kelp! Shanty Singers and VoiceWaves Youth Choir, with the massed choir backed by The Purbeck Youth Tradfolk Collective and a live local band. Together with the audience, they’ll raise the roof with a feel-good set of sing-along classics; from 500 Miles and Lean on Me to Africa, and much more besides.
Organiser and musical director Rebecca Field-Bunney hopes the evening will create the largest choir Swanage has ever seen.
Expect a spectacular evening that celebrates community, music and the joy of singing together - a magical night of fun and unforgettable moments unlike anything The Mowlem has heard before.
